2016 expected to be among the warmest years

After a hot 2015, the UK Met Office recently published its expected forecast for next year, and it looks like this tendency is going to continue in 2016.

The global mean temperature for next year has been forecasted to be between 0.72 °C and 0.96 °C above the long-term (1961-1990) average of 14.0 °C, with a central estimate of 0.84 °C in the Met Office’s annual global temperature forecast.

This outlook predicts a warmer year than the outlook that was produced for 2015 that had a range of 0.52 °C to 0.76 °C and a central estimate of 0.64 °C.
